KARL STORZ MI-Report allows sterile management of surgically relevant information. The screen is equipped with a hand tracking device that enables surgeons to “touchlessly” control relevant patient information.
The system supports selecting, zooming, marking and management of e.g. 3D, CT, MRI, MRA images and videos.
KARL STORZ MI-Report can be easily integrated into any OR. An optional boom mounting of the hand tracking device allows the surgeon to use the system right from the operating table. This enables him to choose relevant information by himself without losing his sterility.
The circulating nurse is no longer needed to provide the surgeon with patient related information.
Patient safety is critical to each hospital. KARL STORZ MI-Report uses WHO checklists to increase patient safety. These lists can be customized for each specialty and hospital needs.
Additionally, KARL STORZ MI-Report can also integrate online instruction manuals (e.g. orthopedic implants) to ensure the conformity of the process.
KARL STORZ MI-Report renders surgically relevant information in Full-High Definition for detailed and pin sharp imaging.
To provide a certain level of flexibility different display sizes are supported.
The KARL STORZ MI-Report is suitable for all types of surgeries where patient related data is needed. It aggregates patient data in the hospital’s network and allocates these to the KARL STORZ MI-Report desktop through a standardized, generic interface. Patient information and the related data files (e.g. pictures, videos, documents) are combined to a consistent data model.
Based on their specialization, doctors can choose patients and obtain related data out off different data sources like AIDA compact, HIS and PACS. It is also possible to allocate data through portable devices like USB stick or CD-ROM. The data interfaces can be modified and specialized for every customer.
